(China) Lytone wins patent dispute in China with Rohm and Hass over agri-produce preservation technique using cyclodextrin

After five years of patent infringement lawsuits and counter-suits between Taiwanese agri-biotech firm Lytone Enterprise and American chemical firm Rohm and Haas, China's State Intellectual Property Office issued a decision on July 30th, 2010 against Rohm and Haas, nullifying its patent related to a method to protect unstable gas molecules by cyclodextrin, with the patent covering many of the company's post-harvest preservation products.
