PharmEng Technology Inc. partnered with Futai Engineering Co. of Taiwan in February 2004 for the design and construction of a US$30 million multi-vaccine facility for Taiwan's National Health & Research Institute (NHRI). The design of the facility stresses the importance of process flow, material flow, personnel requirements and HVAC design.

Design criteria for the major utility systems, including plant steam, compressed air, chilled water, purified water and water for injection were prepared by PharmEng Technology to meet the current FDA, Health Canada and WHO standards. These are among the highest standards in the industry.
